Client Content Rights

Last updated: July 2026

These policies are provided for general transparency and may be updated. They are not legal advice.

Your content stays your content

The business information, source material, and final delivered marketing materials prepared for you are yours. You can use the final deliverables to run your business.

Permission to use content to provide the service

To operate the service, you grant The Hive permission to store, process, organize, transform, and prepare drafts and deliverables from the content you submit.

Uploaded and source material

Voice notes, documents, transcripts, links, and other material you upload remain your content.

Generated and delivered materials

Final content and deliverables prepared for your business — social posts, email blurbs, website sections, offer copy, and similar — are yours to use for your business.

The Hive platform materials

The Hive owns the platform, software, workflows, templates, prompts, internal methods, system design, and the underlying production process. These are not transferred to you by using the service or by receiving deliverables.

Your responsibility for rights and permissions

You are responsible for having the rights to any material you submit — including images, quotes, testimonials, brand assets, and third-party content.

Testimonials and examples

The Hive will not publicly use your business as a named case study, testimonial, or example without your permission.

Account closure and content requests

You may contact us to request access to, or deletion of, content associated with your account. Some information may be retained where we have a legitimate operational or legal reason to do so.
